Inspired by the cube, the Platonic Lounge Chair is named after the Platonic solids, which the cube, symbolizing the element of earth, is part of.

The cubes that compose the frame convey solidity, whereas the elegant arabesque line of the seat conveys fluidity. The Platonic Lounge Chair combines walnut, stainless steel, and Avonite Surfaces® into a design that pairs sturdiness and lightness. The three distinct structural elements of the Platonic allow for numerous combinations of contrasting materials, colors and textures for a design that is both modern and timeless.  It took 2.5 years of engineering and testing different prototypes for the Platonic Chair to come to life.
